About CBSE Social Science

Social science is a compulsory subject up to secondary stage of school education. History: we are learning the meaning of sacrifice done by our fore-fathers in the past, sacrifice doing by our parents at present and learning to do
sacrifice by us, for our future generations.

Geography: we are learning the meaning of quality of environment while using and preserving the resources for present and future generations.

Civics: we are learning the meaning of our rights and duties to practice it, and to become good citizen and helps to make true democratic country of India.

Economics: We are learning the meaning of economic development of our country with various economic challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, and price rise.

Disaster management: we are learning the meaning of disaster mitigation, which helps us to survive and help others to survive in all the three phases of disaster - pre, during and post.
